"Like much of [Fosse's] stage work, “Night Sings Its Songs”...is
simultaneously elliptical and brutally precise."
- Elisabeth Vincentelli, New York Times
"a cacophony of emotions, reactions, passions, and disappointments, with survival being the goal and winning being the bonus. Kinda like humanity itself. Definitely worth seeing."
- Laurie Lawson, Electronic Link Journey
"Jerry Heymann has directed this dark drama—Strindberg redux—with deft movement and progressive tension."
- Beate Hein Bennett, New York Theatre Wire

ABOUT THE PLAY
Between day and night, dream and nightmare, Night Sings Its Songs is a modern day tragedy about two people who love each other desperately, but in an attempt to find each other again, push each other into a downward spiral of miscommunication.
Night Sings Its Songs takes place over the course of one evening though echoes many evenings of a couple struggling to connect.
In 2023, playwright Jon Fosse was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "for his innovative plays and prose which give voice to the unsayable."
