MADELEINE BLOSSOM
RESIDENT ARTIST
Madeleine (she/her) is an AEA Actor and Stage Manager based in New York City. Originally from Southern California, Madeleine has been performing and creating art for as long as she can remember. She graduated in 2018 from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey with her degree in Theatre Arts focusing on Acting and Stage Management. Since graduation Madeleine has worked at different theaters across the country, her favorites being South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California and Southern Colorado Repertory Theater in Trinidad, Colorado, not to mention the many nooks and crannies she’s worked in across New York City. Madeleine has credits ranging from new plays, touring shows, Shakespeare, 29-Hour Equity Readings, workshops, and more. Her favorite performances include Two Precious Maidens Ridiculed and Hamlet at Drew, and Quinn Sumner in The Performance at the Tank in NYC. Favorite stage management shows include Heathers the Musical at Drew, Sweeney Todd at South Coast Repertory, and East Side Stories, Actually at The Metropolitan Playhouse.
Madeleine is certified in Mental Health First Aid and has taken Intimacy Directors and Coordinators’ course on Stage Managing Intimacy, learning the best practices to make rehearsal rooms and performance spaces safe and inclusive to all. Theatre is an extremely vulnerable art form that asks a lot of everyone involved, and Madeleine commits herself to building secure spaces for artists to feel confident in the work they’re creating.
